Do not fear going ahead slowly, only fear standing still.

 27 degrees with a SW breeze and some clouds.  A high of 39 today with a low of 26 tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a SW breeze, a high of 37 and a low of 23.  cloudy Saturday with a gentle east breeze, a high of 37 and a low of 27.  A dusting of snow Sunday with a WNW breeze, a high of 33 and a low os 15.  Partly cloudy Monday with a SW breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 16.  Snow Tuesday and Wednesday, perhaps plowable will usher in winter..  A NNE breeze, Tuesday with a high of 24 and a low of 21.  Strong WNW breezes Wednesday with a high of 24 and a low of 6. Some clouds Thursday with strong west breezes, a high of 17 and a low of 3.  Sunny Friday with a WSW breeze, a high of 20 and a low of 5.  Some clouds Saturday, the 16th, and Sunday with WNW breezes, highs about 19 and lows about 9,   Partly cloudy the next week with highs in the mid twenties WNW breezes and lows about 11.

     A quiet day yesterday.  Darel enjoyed a visit from the Hospice chaplain, always enjoys her visits. his feet are quite swollen, he kept them up most of the day.  We are going to be more careful of what he eats and see if that helps.  Too many goodies around this time of the year.

     I was able to spend a lot of time outside.  I cleaned the bird feeders and got their wind breaks up.  The tree I put by the waterer was lopsided which worked well.  the cardinals can hide in the boughs to drink and the finches can sit out in the open, each to their own preference.  I put out the boughs and put bows on them.  Founds a few more things that needed to be put away.  Maybe we'll be ready for winter Wednesday!
