Clearing, 26 degrees with a light dusting of snow last night.  Sunny today with a WSW breeze,  a high of 36 and a low of 24.  Cloudy tomorrow with a NE breeze, a high of 35 and a low of 27.   1-3 inches of snow tomorrow night into Sunday morning.  Strong WNW breezes Sunday with a high of 35 and a low of 27.  partly cloudy Monday with a west breeze, a high of 29 and a low of 4. 4-8 inches of snow Tuesday into Wednesday morning will usher in winter.  A NE breeze Tuesday with a high of 24 and a low of 19.  A NNW wind Wednesday with a high of 25 and a low of 5.  Partly cloudy Thursday with strong west breezes, a high of 14 and a low of -3.  some clouds with a west breeze Friday, a high of 17 and a low of -2. Sunny next Saturday with a light west breeze, a high of 21 and a low of 11.  Pleasant December weather the beginning of the week of 17th with snow showers forecast for Thursday and Friday.  Highs will be in the twenties, lows in the teens until the end of the week when they drop to ten.

      Darel had a good day yesterday, normal pulse.  Andrew, Gayle and Annabelle visited with him in the afternoon why I went for a haircut.

      Years ago Andrew put a little man (gnome) in the kitchen garden.  Over the years he has waved and smiled everyday.  We know winder was truly here when we couldn't see his hand.  Seeing the tip of his hand signaled the snow was melting,  seeing his smile said spring was just around the corner.  Somehow the storm we had blew him off his bottom.  i was going to toss him.  Darel said i couldn't do that, he'd been with us too many years.  Try to super glue him.  So Wednesday night I did.  He was so faded his smile didn't show.  Yesterday morning I left the floors dirty and repainted him.  Today he'll go back to waving to us as we look out the window.  Until the winter snows put everything , including him, in the garden to sleep.  Darel was pleased with my job.

       Now I need to do what i didn't do yesterday.  I still have some potting to do do in the greenhouse witth only a few days left to do it in.  Today will be very pleasant in there.
