Another quiet day. Darel did agree to turn up the pellet stove. I am so thankful the front room is warm. Darel has agreed that it probably is wise to stay home at these temperatures. The rest of the house is not as warm as I would like but tolerable. Tiffany is coming down this morning to print off my mailing labels so i'm leaving the electric heater i have here by the computer on. This computer corner is one of the chillest spots in the house unless it is running.
The robin has cleaned up the winterberries. I don't know if it is eating the grapes or not. I haven't seen it drink, the heated water attracts more birds than the feeders this year.
My season started Thursday when I sent a hefty check to Jolly Farmer for plugs and cutting that will start arriving 2/27. Yesterday I planted geranium seeds. Most of my geraniums come as plugs but there are a few colors that I don't sell a lot of that I start from seed. All of January is forecast to be below average temperatures. I think I'm going to put lights over the table I used for the Christmas village and start seeds in the warm front room.
Have a good day, Sally
