Spending time with children will always be more important than spending money on them.

31, the high for the day with a light west breeze,  a wintery mis this morning.  A stiff WNW breeze as it starts  to clear mid morning with the temperature dropping during the day to a low of 9 tonight.  Some clouds tomorrow with a brisk west breeze, a high of 17 and a low of 5.  Sunny  Friday with a WSW breeze, a high of 19 and a low of 9.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun Saturday with a NW breeze, a high of 25 and a low of 6. Sunny Sunday with a light WNW breeze, a high of 19 and a low of 10.  Snow showers Monday with a WNW breeze, a high of 22 and a low of 16.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 31 and a low of 20.  Cloudy next Wednesday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 27 and a low of 4.  Sunny next Thursday, still that stiff WNW breeze, a high of 16 and a low of 7.   Snow showers Friday, the 22, through Christmas.  NW breezes, highs in the low twenties with a low of 15 Christmas Eve and 9 Christmas night.

    Darel had a quiet, comfortable day yesterday. lots of napping.  The swelling on the right side of his face is gone and his feet are less swollen.

    I had a quiet day too, lots of puttering.  Put our gift to us, a down quilt on our bed.  We both enjoyed it last night.  i was afraid it would be too warm for Darel.  He kept his feet out.    He wears warm socks that have anti skid soles all the time.  Can't have his feet slipping as he pulls himself up in his walker.

     Gilbert plowed but I need to shovel out the door and sand before the CNA gets here.  There is a dinner at church today that Darel want to go to so I need to shovel and sand a path to the truck.  I'd like to do some other clean up why it is warm this morning.  Just heard there is no school today.  Hope the roads are good by noon.
