Darel had a good day yesterday, napped a lot. We went to Corinth in the afternoon, he always enjoys getting out. We both slept well last night, he and his his cat are still sleeping , enjoying the warmth of the pellet stove.
I got diesel when we went to Corinth. Doug put it in my tractor with some power service so the tractor is all set for awhile. Doug or Gilbert do most of the plowing, i just use it for clean up. I noticed a skunk had tried to get under the house. Thanks to the cement blocks it gave up. Nicole said she saw one Saturday night. I really didn't want a resident skunk this winter. In the barn eating rats and mice is OK but not under the house.
More Christmas gifts came yesterday, I must set aside some time for wrapping. i did get the front room nativity set up on a box yesterday, we both like it that way. tomorrow light bulbs and other new light accessories should come for the lights in the Village. i did look for them in Bangor. What they had was about four times the price on line even with paying shipping on some.
I finished my nursery order, I was able to get most of what I wanted. Crop failure on one of the lilac varieties but I'll have a nice selection. I'm glad i got most of my order in earl, they are already sold out of a lot of things. They are the only nursery selling bare root shrubs that I know of that doesn't use neonicotinoids.
Only nine days until the 21st when the days start getting loner. Only a few seconds at first but headed in the the right direction! have a good day, Sally
