11/21/17
A new day in which to be thankful.

13 degrees with a light SW breeze.  Some  clouds this morning, mostly sunny this afternoon with a south breeze, a high of 46 and a low of 34 tonight.  Rain tomorrow with a west breeze, a high of 42, dropping to 23 tomorrow night.  Some clouds on thanksgiving with a WNW breeze, a high of 35 and a low of 25.  Partly cloudy Friday with a west breeze, a high of 40 and a low of 29.  A south breeze Saturday with an afternoon shower, a high of 50 and a low of 35.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a a NW breeze, a high of 40 and a low of 21.  Partly cloudy Monday with  a strong NW breeze, a high of 29 and a low of 18.  Sunny next Tuesday with a brisk west breeze, a high of 33 and a low of 25. Mostly cloudy next Wednesday and Thursday with WSW breezes, highs about 40 and lows in the high twenties.  Partly cloudy days for the first week of December with NW breezes, highs of 37 and lows about 26.
Windy and cold outside yesterday but warm and pleasant inside as Darel and I enjoyed visiting with friends from Belfast that we hadn't seen in awhile.
The phone died totally yesterday instead of just cutting in and out along with the internet.  A good thing because with the third visit since the storm the technician was able to find the short.  When the pine tree top went down it tore out the internet to the shop.  It also loosen the phone wire so that it shorted out when the wind blew, not when the technician was here.  Some time before i start the greenhouse they will come put those wires back up.  I've told them no hurry.
This morning i will try to call the pellet stove technician.  It takes several tries to ignite.  I've been trying to call in the afternoon.  Yesterday the recording said mornings weren't as busy.  When the sun shines in that room it gets too warm with the pellet stove going.  We've been starting it for a few hours in the evening and agin in the morning a few hours.  Left it on all night last night.
I have a lot planned for today.  Warm enough to work outside and I want to get started on Thanksgiving.  Gilbert is going to cover the perennials in pots with polyester blankets and white plastic.
I've asked JR to work today, I can't count on being able to be outside to help him.  Not much breeze forecast today but still a job much easier with two people.
    Have a good day, Sally
