11/22/17
For all that has been, Thanks!  for all that shall be, Thanks!

Cloudy, calm and 33 degrees.  Rain starting late morning with NW winds and a high of 41.  Dropping to 24 tonight.  Mostly sunny tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday with mostly west breezes, highs in the mid to upper thirties, lows in the mid to upper twenties.  Partly cloudy Saturday with strong SSW breezes, highs of 51 and a low of 35.  Cloudy Sunday with strong NW breezes, a high of 38 and a low of 22.  Partly cloudy Monday with WNW winds, a high of 33 and a low of 26.  Cloudy next Tuesday and Wednesday with SW breezes, highs in the mid to upper forties and lows of 29.  Partly cloudy Thursday, November 30th, with a NW breeze, a high of 41 and a low of 26.  Pleasant Friday, December 1st, and the weekend with highs about 40 and lows in the low to mid twenties.  More of the same weather for the next week except possible snow showers Monday morning.
Darel had a good day yesterday.  His pulse was very low on one side which accounts for his napping all morning.  He got a visit from both his nurse and social worker but they left in time for us to sit on the deer stand for a few hours.  He had an event during the night but seemed fine this am.
Yesterday was a great day.  Gilbert, with JR's help got the pots of perennials all tucked in for the winter,    Then JR fixed the horse barn doors so the NW winds can't blow in and the snow will stay out when we have a nor'easter.  The chickens will be lot warmer when the wins blow!
I started on the pile of returned trays and pots.  I made more headway than I expected. A lot of the sorting is done.   I'm hoping I can get them put away Friday.
Today is pie day.  I cooked a blue hubbard squash and got it ready yesterday.  The turkey has been in the refrigerator since Friday.  Hopefully it is thawed.
       Have a good day, Sally
