Darel had another good day and night. We spent a few hours on the deer stand. We probably won't go to church. Getting in and out of the truck is slow, we'd wind up soaked.
Yesterday morning I wrote "no birds". Yesterday was the day the birds came back. A flock of finches, a flock of chickadees and a different kind of sparrow. There were blue jays at the feeders and wood peckers at the suet. One little finch sat in the feeder a couple of hours. Today I'll clean out the niger seed feeders. Seeds have sat in them for months. The birds will be attracted to the heated waterer tomorrow!
We've been just running the pellet stove evenings and a few hours in the morning. Today was warm so I din't start it. Darel just asked me too, he chills easily now.
I still have some plants that aren't in their winter spots. No deer hunting this afternoon, I'm hoping the rain lets up early enough this afternoon for me to work outside. It will be warm enough, i may just put on a raincoat. I finally got the lights fixed on the cross yesterday.
Have a good day, Sally
