Darel had a good day yesterday.  Napped, took a ride to Dover and sat on a deer stand for a couple hours.  All we saw was Rachael's cat.
I got a few things done outside.  Mike cut up some birch  we had used to mark the aisle for Kendra's wedding.  I was able to fit the wood in the head house.  It will be seasoned by February.  I would have liked to work in the greenhouse, it was pleasant in there. The winds were so strong that it seemed a lot colder outside than it was.  Even with clouds today will seem pleasant in comparison.
My Christmas shopping will be all online this year.  I got quite a bit done yesterday.  I didn't find anything I wanted to get anyone else in our Visa rewards catalog so I got us a new down comforter.  We've had ours so many years it is a nice light summer blanket.  I'm not selling Christmas trees this year.  I'll go get some for the family and some junk ones for the birds.  We still have very few birds.  there was another article in the paper "Where have all the birds gone?".  So I'm not the only one without birds.  Once in awhile I'll see a finch or blue jays.  Some not hatches and wood peckers come to the suet.
The sun is lighting the eastern rim of darkness.  The wind has died down   I'm looking forward to a good day, hope yours is too.  Sally
