A quiet day yesterday, Darel did not feel up to going to church. He did want to get out of the house late afternoon so we took a ride to the store for oranges. No wandering around with the walker yesterday.
Started cleaning my closet yesterday. Looked in a box of blankets, just a blanket on top. A box of clothes i've never see. Salvation army will see them! Found a tin containing a nice camera, a barlow jackknife and a New Testament. No one seems to know where it came from. No wonder my closet is cluttered!
We got almost a half inch of rain yesterday. So pleased, enough rain to soften the ground so it will soak up today's rain. Enough rain to wash away toe smell of the skunk that walked by early in the morning. I was still so happy that we had no skunk order for the wedding I didn't complain.
I watched a chipmunk empty a bird feeder yesterday, I won't bother to refil it. There are so few birds coming to the feeders they don't need it. Mostly nuthatches and woodpeckers coming to the suet.
Have a good day, Sally
