Darel had a quiet, peaceful day yesterday. I had a lovely day. Rosemarie, the lady who worked with me in the greenhouse for so long( until she had to move to Bradly to live with her father) spent the day. We visited, put up fall decorations and visited some more. Her yellow lab came with her. After a bit Ben decided he knew Darel and would go visit him awhile, then come make sure Rosemarie was still here. The day was topped off with my sister, her husband and Cathi and Greg Goodine coming for supper. Not only a fun visit but Lynne bought supper!
It was good Lynne bought supper because than I didn't have to do anything yesterday. Having someone to talk greenhouse and gardens with got me enthused about next year. Rosemarie is planning to get back into soap making. In the spring she worked at Beth Hutchings Greenhouse. Her summer was spent building gardens at her father's. She still has her mother's flower garden to renovate.
Sally Jo loved the fall decorating we did. She said she was just going to stay in the entryway and enjoy the beautify! She also said i can't replace the pheasant because he is worn and tattered. We've had him too long.
Back to work today. Jordn is going to help with the garden cleanup, he doesn't have to go back to college until tomorrow. Nicole is going to stay with Darel awhile so I can pick tomatoes. My fall broccoli is ready to cut. Rachael didn't plant very many. plants Which is good as the stand isn't open. Darel really likes to get out of the house. We are going to take some afternoon rides and see the fall colors. So I closed the stand early this year.
Enjoy your day, Sally
