Each day is a gift so thank God when we get up in the morning.  In the evening thank God for being with us through another day.

 44, wet with a west breeze.  4.51 inches of rain from this storm.  Rain this morning with a strong west breeze, a high of 58 and a low of 37.  Mostly sunny tomorrow with a SE breeze, a high of 62 and a low of 48.  Morning showers and cloudy i the afternoon with a SE breeze and a high of 61.  Rain and strong winds Sunday night with a low of 56.  Rain Thunder and strong SSE winds Monday, potential for heavy rain. with a low of 41 Monday night as the storm moves away.  Mostly sunny Tuesday with strong WSW breeze, a high of 55 and a low of 33.  A high of 52 Wednesday with sun, a west breeze and a low of 38 Wednesday night.  Showers Thursday into Friday with a stiff SSE breeze, a high of 58 and a low of 34.  A brisk west breeze Friday with a high of 555 and a low of 32.  Partly cloudy next weekend with a brisk north breeze Saturday, a high of 48 and a low of 36.  A WSW breeze, Sunday with a high of 52 and a low of 41.  Showers the week of the eighth with highs in the fifties and lows in the upper to mid thirties.

     After some days of a normal pulse Darel's pulse was very low yesterday morning and high in the afternoon when the nurse was here.  He felt fine though he took a couple extra naps and was ready to go to bed at seven.

     I did get the freeze defrosted yesterday.  I did some church work and spent a couple hours on the phone visiting with a friend from away.  Pretty much a lazy day thinking about how nice the rain was. We swatted flies and i'm still swatting this morning.  i don't know how they are getting in.

      Now that my herbs and planters are soaked I will spend the next few days potting plants.  The begonias will go down cellar, the herbs under straw under a bench.  Lavender and rosemary go upstairs.

The pond lilies go down cellar in a bucket of water.  I'll have some pots all ready to divide them in the spring.  I put coffee filters in the bottom to keep the soil in and rocks in them so they will sink straight down  Also some rocks on top of the soil so it doesn't float out.
