Darel walked (with the walker) out to the kitchen yesterday. The aide right behind him with her hand an inch from the safety belt. When his nurse visited later all she could say was amazing, unbelievable. Our God is amazing! With my help Darel can do enough for himself so that we don't need someone else here days.
Lots of thunder and lightening last night but we didn't lose our power and got some much needed rain. I won't have to spend any time watering. A good thing, i'm not keeping up with all that needs canned. My field tomatoes were planted so late they haven't started to turn. Gilbert has canning tomatoes for sale. The hoop house tomatoes are just barely keeping up with the stand.
I didn't see any hummingbirds yesterday. All the summer birds seem to be gone. The soft maple are starting to turn. Like it or not fall is here.
I have to take time to put jars of pears and plums away so i have room to work in my kitchen. This morning I have a doctor's appointment to get realigned, a good thing. Lexi is going to stay with Darel. Have a good day, Sally
