Thundershowers tomorrow with a SE breeze, a high of 69 and a low of 61. Rain on Thursday with a south breeze, a high of 69 and a low of 52. Partly cloudy Friday and Saturday with WNW breezes, highs about 69 and lows in the high forties. Possible morning showers Sunday with a NNW breeze, a high of 70 and a low of 49. Pleasant all of next week into the next weekend with highs in the seventies dropping into the sixties toward the end of the week. WNW breezes with lows in the fifties dropping to the mid forties. This forecast does not consider what path Hurricane Irma will take. Irma will likely change this forecast by the middle of next week.
Another pleasant, quiet day. Darel stood up several times and moved from the bed to the chair. By evening he was too tired to stand up. Back at it today.
Washed coolers and put them away, no more small zucchini or cucumbers. Big zucchini don't fit in cooler, nor do they need them I set up a cooler for the smaller sweet Walla Walla onions, we don't have any big ones left. We have lots of the big, sweet Alisha Craig onions. Great for making blooming onions.
Canned more pears, will can more today. Cooked apples for applesauce using ones the storm blew off the tree. cooking some more today. Cutting up so much fruit I have to wear a bandaid, the knife is giving me a blister. The chickens appreciate the cores and bad spots. No spray on our fruit so there are bad spots. Not only are we blessed with lots of fruit but all se are getting is fruit, no pesticides.
Gilbert bought down a few ripe pumpkins. On our way to church i saw pumpkins for sale with lots of green on them. I'm hoping some some of mine will be ripe by the end of the week
Have a good day, Sally
