From the signs we knew Darel had had an "event" early yesterday.  He insisted he was fine to go to church.  I'm not sure he would have been able to walk out to the truck with the old walker but he was able to with the new one.  Andrew helped him get in the truck. In church he has a special chair, a arm chair Don Brewer put on a platform so he can stand up easier.  He's been doing fine but yesterday I was glad for Bruce Tilton's help in getting him to his feet.  I was able to help him into the truck.  It was a slow walk in the house and he needed me to lift his left leg.  Gilbert and Rachael came down and watched the game with him.  The good news is that at four this morning he'd regained the use of that left leg again.
I ordered a pellet stove yesterday.  Spent two hours checking for discounts even though Home Deport had the best price., None of the discounts  applied on line.  I decided since they only had two left I'd better not shop any more.  Some places no longer had a mid priced model in stock.  Now we have a small, very nice wood stove for sale for $265.00.  We paid $599.00 for it a few years ago.
90 degrees was too hot to do much but some watering and wait on customers.  We are self service Sundays but if I'm able i help people anyway,  Most of the big pumpkins are gone so pumpkins are three dollars now.  I have to pick tiny pumpkins and gourds first thing.  And onion, tomatoes and pepper for the stand.
And admire my morning glories, they have been loving this heat.  Have a good day, Sally
