Beauty and miracles surround us if we look.  Praise and give thanks to our Lord!

 Mostly clear, calm and 60 degrees.   A SE breeze with a high of 82 today and a low of 59 tonight.  Cloudy tomorrow with a south breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 58.  Maybe some afternoon showers Tuesday from Jose with a SE breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 52.  Cloudy Wednesday with a strong NNE breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 54.  Less clouds, still a brisk NNE breeze Thursday with a high of 74 and a low of 49.  Sunny Friday, the weekend and next Monday.  A light north breeze Friday, west breezes the next three days with highs about 80 and lows in the fifties. Partly cloudy Tuesday, the 26th, with a NW breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 54.  Much cooler the rest of the week with highs in the sixties and lows in forties. Showers likely Wednesday, the 27th.

      Yesterday i had to get a new pair of shoes.  Darel wanted to go, insisted he could get in the truck without Doug's help and did.  He pointed out that he'd always sat in the truck why i shopped.  We got some fried chicken before I went to the shoe store.

He told me several times last night how much he enjoyed getting out.  As long as he stays strong enough to get in the truck perhaps we can go for a ride more often.  Church today.

     I spent a lot of time watering yesterday.  Doug will bale some second cutting today, other farmers have been making hay all week.  So i can't wish we had rain but I was hoping we'd get some from Jose.  Anyone planting fruit trees or perennials this week will have to make sure they soak them at planting and again a week later.  I have several perennials and a couple of shrubs i'd like to find time to plant.

      Since Darel's cat learned that the hospital bed isn't going to get her she walks past it to our bedroom and is back to sleeping on the foot of our bed.  She and Darel started playing a four this morning.  Not a way to make friends and influence people, especially me!!!  Darel is moved out to the hospital bed and sleeping on the moving air mattress.  I'm trying to figure out how i can stay awake in church!
