At the end of the day remind yourself that that you did the best you could and that is good enough.

Darel had a quiet day yesterday,  The highlight of the day: His cat finally braved the hum and motion of the air mattress he has for his bed sores and jumped up on the bed to be petted for awhile.  She is a scared cat, it took her weeks to even go in the room because it was rearranged to make room for the bed. She will only show up when Darel and i are the only ones here.
As it gets light I realize we have dense fog.
I picked gourds and tiny pumpkins yesterday.  To my dismay I cannot find any of the 2 or 3 pound  white pumpkins we always have. I usually have a hundred plus, they are very popular for painting on. Whatever happened to the plants I don't know.  I had thought it was pie pumpkins i didn't have but the pie pumpkins are where the white pumpkins were supposed to be.  Barbie keeps reminding me this only one season. I have lots of nice jack lantern pumpkins.
The Bartlett pears are the perfect degree of ripeness.  i picked quite a few last night, I'll pick more today.  Not many of the purple plums are ripe yet.  I need to check the grapes.  I don't have any peaches on my peach tree.  Doug and Nicole have enough for everyone.
     Have a good day, Sally
