9/18/17
Heaven on earth is a choice we make, not a place we find.

59 degrees, calm with a dense fog.Cloudy today with a light SSE breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 60.  Possible afternoon showers tomorrow, rain likely tomorrow night with a light ESE breeze, a high of 72 and a low of 62.  Possible morning showers Wednesday with a NE wind, a high of 74 and a low of 58.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a strong NNE breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 48.  Pleasant the next six days with highs in the low eighties on the weekend, Monday and Tuesday.  A NE breeze Friday with a high of 78 and a low of 53.  Lows the rest of the days will be in the high fifties.  Showers and cool Friday, the 29th and the weekend.
A very good day yesterday!  Darel was able to get in the truck, get out and , using his new walker, walk into the church without help.  After a good sermon and pleasant visiting  we got safely home again. We believe in miracles!  The patriots won making it a good afternoon.  We treasure each day.
Peppermint simulates the brain and helps with concentration.  I am going to dig some up and put a plant on my desk.  My patch is big enough to share if you would like to dig up some roots too.  Are you putting your camper up for the winter.  You are welcome to come and cut some of my mint to put in the camper to repel mice and spiders.
Friends came by yesterday and picked my pumpkins for me.  They are nicely shaped but I guess the Big Moose pumpkins never got plated.  So no great big ones but lots of nice sized ones for decorating.
Jordn was home from college this weekend but he didn't have time to mow the lawns.  He was too busy helping his Dad deliver firewood.  Including  a couple loads that went in the back room of the greenhouse.  So Gilbert mowed the lawns.
      Have a good day, Sally
