Another pleasant day.  Darel was able to get into the wheelchair without help.  He isn't able to get up out of it yet.  He started the day with a visit from a former neighbor and ended the day with a visit from another neighbor.  Visits are good.Even though he is working at becoming more independent and watching TV some the days go by slowly.
I found a few more cucumbers, 3 small zucchini and lots of summer squash.  It is time to start eating buttercup squash.  Lots of plums and pears to can.  And lots of big beautiful sweet onions.  Because all the pepper plants got sold why I was with with Darel in the hospital I mostly have only sweet banana peppers,  But I have lots of them.  My sons like them because when they are given the job of cutting up peppers for the freezer they cut up fast.
     Have a good day, Sally
