A pleasant day yesterday.  The highlight of day: while the CNA (who has had some PT training) was here Darel stood from the bed to the walker and moved a couple of feet sideways and a few feet back.  Gilbert bought him outside in the wheelchair and left him to supervise a friend and I cleaning up some perennials.  I was untangling honeysuckle vines.  With no one watching them they had wrapped all around each other.  It is easy to see why a honeysuckle vine is recommended as a scree and bid sanctuary.
Brian picked buttercup squash yesterday.  Picked some more large zucchini in case  someone wants to make bread or relish this weekend.  I'm going to try to find little summer squash and zucchini for the grill.  Cucumbers are about done.  Gilbert doesn't have any..  Tomatoes are late.  We are seeing geese formations.  In a few days the hummingbirds will be leaving.  Like it or not the season is changing.
"the Loop" got neglected this morning.  We did the therapy with Darel.  I got Rachael pots and compost so she could bump up more perennials.  We are putting them in their winter location.
This has been a crazy morning, good but crazy with doing lots of different things.  Enjoy your day, Sally
