Darel was very quiet yesterday. He had had a stroke around three yesterday morning. He as very soft spoken yesterday morning but his speech was clear so I thought it was one of the minor ones he has so often. But he was very weak and tired yesterday, sleeping a lot and only setting up a few times. He enjoyed visiting when he was awake and by evening he sat up for Rachael's birthday supper. In the afternoon Rachael was able to play her ukulele and sing for him, first time since she had her wisdom teeth pulled.
Sally Jo sang with her. Last night after everyone left he and Keith visited. They got in another long visit this morning.
I was tired yesterday and didn't get much done besides lots of watering. Brian pulled the garlic and tied it in bunches. Andrew put the bunches over the garage rafters to dry.
It is a good crop this year. Today i'm going to pull Walla Walla onions. I didn't get to them yesterday. I already have soaker hoses running. It is dry, I'm hoping tomorrow night's thunderstorms dump on us.
Darel is asleep and Gilbert is sleeping on the couch. Time for me to go to the garden. Have a good day, Sally
