Our son Keith came in from Alaska last night.  His wife got a new knee and had surgery on the other one the day Darel came home from the hospital so keith wasn't able to leave her.  We should have gone to bed earlier but didn't.  There are no words to describe what it means to Darel that he is here.
I really pushed to get everything including seven quarts of blueberries harvested because of the uncertain forecast.  When keith showed up last nigh I was very glad it was done.  I did some weeding, a row of sweet potatoes I didn't' even know i had.  There is a saying, "The footsteps of the master is the best fertilizer."  This master hasn't left many footsteps this season.
I cleaned the hummingbird feeders, don't want then to have moldy or fermented food.  It has been so nice for Darel to have so many birds still coming to the feeders, even though lots of them are eating more natural feed.  So far the black birds haven't found the feeding station Jordn set up for Darel.
My sweet onions are ready, I'll make time to pull some.  Probably won't get much else done,  Keith is only here until Monday.
      Have a good day, Sally
