We enjoyed going to church again with Doug and Nicole. Andrew and Gayle are planning to take us to our church next Sunday. An Alaskan friend sent us several pictures from 1975. Not only has Darel enjoyed looking at them but he has enjoyed sharing them with family and friends. Yesterday the two Ray's were here for a long time- the pictures set off a series of stories from each of them. Lots of laughs and lots of emotion as the stories bought back good memories. Another mini stroke yesterday, as usual he was ok shortly afterwards.
Gilbert is getting me some more cardboard this morning. I'm really trying to mulch anyplace that has been let go this season. It has been a few years since I mulch the raspberries so i want to prune and mulch them. The new Jewel blackberries need more mulch. They are going to take up more room than I thought.
Doug mowed the last of first cutting yesterday. He is hoping today will be such a good drying day that he can bale late today. It isn't very thick Some of the field has milkweed so he just bale it to get it off the field. Than it will be time for second cutting!
Have a good day, Sally
