Darel had a very pleasant day yesterday. Doug had to go to Dover for parts and took Darel with him. They had lunch at the Chinese restaurant and took a long way home via several back roads. We are going to church with Doug and Nicole this morning. They have a special reason to not miss their service today. Darel and I have been talking, Doug and Nicole's church is a bi part of their life, we aren't happy with asking them to miss their service often to take us to our church. We are going to talk to the family and see if some of the others will take us to our church occasionally.
I had a good day too. Piked 7 quarts of blueberries, that makes about 36 in the freezer. I pulled lots of sweet onions, a lot of people ate onion and cucumber sandwiches yesterday. There are tomatoes on the stand. They will sell out and since I picked all that were ripe some people won't be happy. It seems that they should be ripening faster with this weather. Everyone is complaining that they are late.
Rachael potted up some geraniums for people who like to take them inside for winter. I'll have her pot some red ones for this room. I have pink ones for the upstairs window and the living room window. When we are out in the snow it is so nice to look at windows full of blooms. We need to be getting some herbs ready for windowsills too.
Have a good day, Sally
