Pleasant Monday through Thursday with high in the low eighties until Thursday, when the high will be 78. SW breezes Monday and Tuesday, strong NW breezes Wednesday and Thursday. Showers next Friday and the weekend with highs in the mid seventies, lows in the mid fifties. East breezes Friday and Saturday, a west breeze with slow clearing Sunday. Pleasant the week of the 21st with mostly west breezes, highs about 80 and lows about 58.
Yesterday was pleasant and quiet. We like "no news" days! I got to pick summer squash and cucumbers why Gilbert pushed Darel along in the wheelchair .
Quiet days. Harvesting and trying to get places not planted or neglected mulched so they don't grow weeds. I got some blueberries picked, there are more to pick. We got a strong thunderstorm that dropped .47 inches of rain. We would have rather seen the rain come slower but we are glad for what we got. The "critter" hasn't disturbed the peppermint-yet. It tore up or threw rocks over about six feet of the oregano planted along the garage so I know oregano doesn't repel anything. The oregano was about to the stage where I was thinking about putting up my herb dryer and drying some.
Doug and Nicole are here getting Darel washed up and set for the day. the cucumber coolers are full but I'm going to take advantage of their being here to go pick some more for backup. Have a good day, Sally
