Darel had a very quiet day yesterday.  He slept a lot and was quite shaky.  When i helped him sit up i made sure to stay right beside him why he was up.  Sunday was a very tiring day but well worth being tired yesterday!  We both slept well last night.  I didn't even wake up to put wood on the cook range.  I took advantage of its being cold to clean it this morning.
Darel is doing much better today, looking forward to getting outside. He isn't shaky and is sitting up well.  He speech is "thick", but there is no problem understanding him.  His sense of humor is intact and his mind is sharp.
Yesterday I spent my time outside harvesting.  I cleaned all the coolers and filled them.  We have green beans now.  We spent lots of time watering.  I soaked the hoop house with fertilizer water. I sold ten pounds of tomatoes before I even got to the stand.  They are small early tomatoes.  Up to yesterday any tomatoes I picked were eaten by family.  i hope to get back to berry picking today.
I never like the fist of August.  I've been noticing the blush on the pears and early apples signaling that summer is moving by.  But the first of August makes it official.  I haven't had enough summer yet!
       Have a good day, Sally
