7/27/17
No matter what happens in life you can succeed in being good to people.

59 degrees with a SSW breeze and light rain. Rain this morning, cloudy this afternoon with a high of 71 and a low of 60 tonight. Mostly cloudy tomorrow with a NNW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 55. Partly cloudy Saturday with a NNE breeze. a high of 77 and a low of 54. The forecast shows ten days of pleasant weather with highs in the eighties and lows about 60. Next week the highs are forecast to be in the high eighties, dropping to the low eighties the weekend of the 5th and 6th. After a few days of NE breezes breezes will mostly be WSW.      Another quiet day here.  Darel started the day with some slurring of his speech but a morning of sleep cleared it up.  I watered and picked blueberries, the hay crew made some hay.  Gilbert took Darel for a long wheelchair ride, giving him chance to see what everyone was doing.  We are blessed.
The state inspector was here yesterday.  Everything looks good.  There is a low infestation of "bad bugs" and lots of good buds.  Across the bottom she wrote, "You have a great selection of bee friendly plants."
I have some zinnias and petunias left.  With the dry forecast I will give them to anyone who has a blank spot they need some color in. I'll try to get some more flowers planted today.   We've had lots of rainy days but not a lot of rain.  Any spilled hay will be used for mulch to keep moisture in and prevent weeds from growing to suck it up.
Thanks to Gilbert there are lots of cucumbers in the vegetable stand.  Several things in my garden haven't been properly cared for.  Good candidates to bury with hay for good soil next year.
     Have a good day, Sally
