7/26/17
This is the day the Lord has made.  We will be glad and rejoice in it!.  Psalms 118:24

Sunny, calm and 56 degrees.  Sunny today with a WSW breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 60 tonight.  Thunderstorms developing tomorrow afternoon with a SSW breeze, a high of 74 and a low of 59.Some clouds Friday, Saturday and Sunday with mostly NE breezes, highs close to eighty and lows in the mid fifties.  Sunny Monday and Tuesday with mostly west breezes, highs in the mid to upper eighties and lows about 60.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with mostly west breezes, highs of 80 and lows of 59.  Pleasant for the weekend of the 5th and Monday , the 7th, with mostly SW breezes, highs in the low eighties and lows about 60.  Scattered thunderstorms Tuesday, the 8th.
Darel had a good day yesterday.  He enjoyed visiting with company and Doug took him for a long wheelchair ride.  Lexi and Justin will be here this morning.  Justin will be haying this afternoon.  Doug mowed one field that wasn't very thick yesterday.  Jordn mowed lawns.  He'll weed whack this morning.  I took care of some neglected flowers and picked cucumbers, zucchini and summer squash.
Rachael mulched the fall broccoli and cauliflower yesterday.  We've sold enough perennials so that we can switch any shallow saucers out for deeper ones as we water today.  As glad as i am to see such a good stretch of hay weather i know i need to make sure sure all the potted plants have plenty of water. I'll be running the soaker hoses in the garden, no water can be wasted.
Donna bought us supper again last night.  It sure makes for an easier day when we don't have to think about supper.
The CNA was late this morning.  Which was good Darel slept late.  And he was a little shakily this morning.  I had suspected he had another mini stroke during the night.
All seems well now.  Lexi worked late so she'll be napping on the couch today.  I'll be able to get the blueberries picked early.  Berries are doing well this year.  Gilbert has 100 quarts picked and in the freezer.  I've about 20.  Fruit is expensive and all our fruit is unsprayed.
      Have a good day, Sally
