Some people are so poor all they have is money.

Gentle NW breeze with sun and clouds and 62 degrees.  Partly cloudy today with a NW breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 64  Tomorrow will be about the same only the breeze will be from the NE.  Sunny Sunday with a brisk North breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 54.  Sunny Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the upper eighties and lows around 60.  A WSW breeze Monday, a NW breeze Tuesday and back to the SW Wednesday.  Scattered thunderstorms Thursday with showers Friday and Saturday.  So much for yesterday's forecast of ten dry drys. Pleasant next Sunday and the beginning of the week with scattered thunderstorms Thursday, the 19th, and Friday.A high of 74 next Friday, otherwise highs are forecast to be in the low eighties with mostly west breezes.

      Yesterday wasn't a bad day for Darel but neither was it a good day.  He didn't feel up to a wheelchair ride..  Andrew and Gayle spent the day here.  I din't do very much, mostly staying in the house with him.  I did get some cookies made.  There hadn't been any cookies since Lisa bought us a big batch so they are mostly eaten up already.When he woke up this morning he wanted to sit up for awhile.  But when i went to help him up and sit with him he said he wasn't up to it and went back to sleep.

      Doug spent the day spreading wood ash and fertilizer.  this batch of wood ash is not good, hard and full of chunks.  It is going on ground he is going to till and reseed or he wouldn't be able to use it.  .41 inches of rain  late in the afternoon washed the fertilizer in.  Enough rain so i won't have to water anything today.

      Nicole and Sally Jo built fence giving the cows new pasture.  And moving the fence so we can get to the compost pile easily.  We'll be dumping some annuals.  And putting down more mulch of poor hay.
