Clouds, light variable breeze and 55 degrees.  Very slow thinning of the clouds today with a NNE breeze and a high of 72, dropping to 51 tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a WSW breeze, a high of 62 and a low of 59.  Afternoon thunderstorms Thursday with a SSW breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 60.Friday starts a week of pleasant days. Friday and the weekend the breezes with be from the NNW.  Friday's high will be 77, Saturday's 79 and eighty on Sunday.  Mostly SW breezes next week with temperatures in the eighties.  Showers are forecast for Friday August 4th, than back to more days of sun.  Highs remain in the eighties.

       After a not very goof night Sunday night Darel slept a lot yesterday.  I mostly picked raspberries.  Darel slept very well last night.  Breakfast and devotions done, Nicole is getting Darel ready for the day.  A night's sleep does start the day off right!

       Last night as i was getting ready to fill the bird feeders the two evening grosbeaks flew in.  they acted like they had nothing to eat all day!  Rather than bother them I left the feeders to fill this morning.  When I bother the birds in the morning they don't go far and come right back.  The male rose breasted grosbeak fledging already only comes to the slightly hidden feeder.  Nature makes him know to be shy with his bright colors??

       Last night's showers didn't amount to much., it isn't very wet out.  Doug is moving the cows to a new pasture than he is going to mow.  Not a lot with thundershowers forecast for Thursday afternoon.  I'm going to soak the fall broccoli and cauliflower and mulch it.     Than back to moving the hose to all the soaker hose we planted with everything.  The next two week forecast is why I plant soaker hoses and much.  Even when It is being done in the rain.
