A hot, 95 degrees, day but pleasant until the thunderstorm that wasn't forecast until the hay was down, came in.  Andrew took Darel out to pick some cherries and blueberries.  I picked raspberries, blue berries today.
Some morning things go slower than other mornings.  I try to post the above on FB early for weather watchers and people who are wondering how Dare's day went.
Hot as it was we had some good sales yesterday.  The weather has been so poor people want to do things on a sunny day even if it is hot.  Less humidity and a breeze will make today seem better.  Compared to picking raspberries the blue berry picking will be an easy job.  Lots of hay went in the barn until the conveyor broke.  Fixing that is first on the agenda.  there are three trailers in the yard, all tarped, to be unloaded.
I've had three hoses go this past week, two yesterday  they were al 15 plus years old so I shouldn't complain but new hoses don't come cheap.  I have a tub of rocks and water by the beehives.  That hose and the one to the garden pond split.  I went out to move the hose by the house to a different spot and there were several places that the hose was four inches in diameter.  Gilbert was in town buy a new refrigerator so he got me some hoses.  They wanted a basic refrigerator, went to four places before they they found one without bells and whistles.  The fifth place was Lowes and they had a good selection.
Andrew set an attractive chunk of a pine log up by the bird feeders Darel watches.  We set a fountain on it for the birds.  I put rocks in int so the birds would have a place to sit.  We are hoping the birds will take to it giving Darel more to watch.
     Have a good day, Sally
