7/20/17
Good Adds up.

Hay making weather!  Our high yesterday was 90. Sunshine with high thin clouds, a gentle west breeze and 68 degrees.  A high of 85 degrees today with a light west breeze and a low of 62 tonight.  Mostly sunny Friday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 84 and a low of 59.  Mostly sunny Saturday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 54.  Any of these days there is a 20% chance of a pop up thundershower.  Mostly sunny Sunday with a WNW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 55.  Partly cloudy Monday with a NE breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 56.  Showers Tuesday with a NE breeze, a high of 70 and a low of 57.  Than six days of pleasant weather for making hay with mostly SW breezes and highs about 81.  Some showers and thunderstorms possible the first few days of August.
We are doing well.  The hay wagons are rolling, no more skunks and most of the blackbirds seem to have left.  Just our local red winged black birds.  And  Darel had another comfortable day.  Jordn set up a bird feeding station where Darel could watch it.  He lets me know when any of the feeders begin to get empty.  With this heat it is time to wash the hummingbird feeders and put in fresh liquid.
It is going to be so hot today that Brian is only going to come for a few hours.  He'll make sure everything is watered, hook up soaker hoses and watch for customers why I pick raspberries.  Andrew and Gayle are here today with Darel.  I can pick blueberries and watch for customers at the same time.  I need to pick squash and zucchini again.  No cucumbers yet.  Andrew has to go to the bank this afternoon, he'll take my truck so he can take crates of water for the begonias in the church box.
A male cardinal fledging came to the feeder this morning.  He was so pretty with the sun shining on him.
