Darel was not himself yesterday. He had a tia while he was out for his wheelchair ride. He is rarely aware of when he has a tia. Last night was not a good night. He was aware that things were not right last night. Once again he beat the odds, he feels fine this morning. The right side of his face is still swollen but the swelling has gone down a lot since 3AM. Doug should be able to get all the hay he has mowed baled. I picked blueberries yesterday, raspberries again today.
Watering may come before berry picking. Usually if I get busy on the weekend i can call Rachael but she is in Castine at a soccer clinic. Even though we've had plenty of rain to mess with haying I'm running soaker hoses in the garden. And if the wind blows the display areas and mums will need water.
The redwing black birds have left the nest. Just as the bluejays fledglings have gotten so they can land on the feeders the blackbirds are here. The bigger birds do have a problem with the light plastic feeders.
The chickens will dine on summer squash and zucchini. These warm temperatures are bringing on more than i can begin to use and sell. I wish the cucumbers would hurry up!
Have a good day, Sally
