6/23/26 Summer homemaking is the gentle art of noticing the season and letting its beauty find a place in your home.

Light rain, an east breeze, 57 degrees.  The rain is forecast to stop about ten this morning.  Cloudy this afternoon and tonight, high 67, low 54.  The NE breeze will shift to the NW.  Partly cloudy tomorrow, a strong NW breeze, high 78, low 56. Late afternoon and overnight showers Thursday,  a west breeze, high 79, low 58.  Thunderstorms Friday, a south breeze, high 72, low 47.  Some showers Saturday, a NWN breeze, high 77, low 58.  Isolated thunderstorms Sunday, a north breeze, high 78, low 57.  Partly cloudy the week of Monday, June 29th.  Except for isolated thunderstorms Friday.  A WNW breeze Monday, an ENE breeze Tuesday, SW breezes the rest of the week.  Highs about 80, lows about 60.  Possible showers the 5th and 6th, scattered thunderstorms Tuesday the 7th.  Highs in the upper seventies, lows about 59.

Drought is no longer a serious concern but the drought monitor says, "Rain, Rain don't go away" because there is still a little deficiency. We would like it to stop raining so we can finish planting the garden and make hay.  The flowers are loving all the rain.  Cool weather vegetables are doing great, the ones that love warmth would like to see more sun.  Next week!
The house is full of kids getting ready to go to Vacation Bible School.  Our kids go to three different Bible Schools over the summer.
I'm going to pick up Country Junction t-shirts this morning to put in the store.  They are kelly green, there is an assortment of sizes.  They will be taking orders if people want different colors.
May your day be blessed, Sally
