Cloudy Monday December 1st, a WSW breeze, high 35, low 29.  1-3 inches of snow Monday night.  Rain/snow Tuesday the 2ed, a NW breeze, high 35, low 24.  Snow showers Wednesday the 3rd, a NW breeze, high 31, low 23.  1-3 inches of snow Wednesday night.  Morning snow showers the 4th, a NW breeze, high 30, low 18.  Partly cloudy Friday the 5th, a WNW breeze, high 26, low17. 

    I put an applesauce cake in the oven for us.   Soon as Maegin gets back from the bus run she'll be baking for the craft fair tomorrow.  And Friday's she bakes for the Country Junction customers that are missing the goodies she had in the vegetable stand last summer.  No bus run Saturdays so she'll be baking muffins for the early comers at the craft fair.

    Bekah and Doug have gone after the Christmas trees.They will be for sale starting Monday.  Even Monday is very early to put up a tree and have it stay fresh through Christmas.  We ask people to cut a slice off the bottom and  keep the tree stand filled with water.  Often trees will drink a gallon of water the first day they are given water.. It is important to never let the water run out because the cut end will dry up and stop taking water.   Our tree is in the front room with the pellet stove.  Not only do we make sure there is always water in the stand but we have a tabletop humidifier running right behind the tree.  We'll keep the humidifier running even after the tree goes out to the birds.  The extra moisture is good for the people too.  My house plants drink gallons of water but still the humidity is only about 30%.  We have water on the cookstove too.
