11/30/25  First Sunday in Advent

Cloudy, calm, 24 degrees.  Snow this afternoon becomes a mix around five and then rain late evening. High 38, low 31.  Sun and clouds tomorrow, a WNW wind, high 35, low 14.  As of now 2-6 inches of snow is forecast for Tuesday and Tuesday night. A NE breeze, high 27, low 20.  There is potential for more snow.  Quiet weather is forecast the rest of the week and next weekend.

     Today begins the Advent season, the period of time that Christians world wide prepare their hearts for the arrival of Christ.  Do we have hate, pride or jealousy?  Anger, selfishness, bitterness or greed in our hearts.  May we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord by removing that clutter, tearing it out by the roots if need be.  It may be hard work but with the Lord's help we can fill the holes left with the fruits of the spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
