Gilbert is doing ok.  The swelling has gone down, his fingers are warm and have some feeling.  He sees the surgeon today.  The grand nieces and nephews have all gotten their pumpkins from Uncle Gilbert.  Rachael is taking some to the children's museum.  I'm processing the pie pumpkins.
Maegin passed her test to drive a bus yesterday morning.  She started driving yesterday afternoon.  They have given her our route. This week Darel and her stepfather replaced the windows that weren't good in her trailer.  This weekend they are going to put a roof on it.  Maegin has new flooring, she is going to start on it today.
The first planting of the winter rye cover is up and looking good.  The second planting hasn't germinated yet.  It will, rye is tough.
A neighbor has died.  Annie and Gundy were our age, with kids the same age, on neighboring farms. Now it is Annie and I.
Jay gave her several mums for the funeral and cemetery.  Heather is doing the floral arrangements.
May your day be blessed, Sally
