A pleasant fall day.  I got a little more mulching done.  I spent a long time on the Christmas t-shirt order.  Some of the time was sending emails back and forth to grandchildren about sizes and colors, visiting at the same time.  I'm placing the order this morning, then getting a perm.  On the way home I'll get plastic to bank the north side of the house.
One of the gray squirrels found the feeders in the kitchen garden.  It was fun watching it as I did dishes but I'm not sure I'll appreciate his appetite if he stays the winter.  A very small female cardinal spends most of each day on the feeders.  Is she from a late hatch?  The other cardinals come mostly early morning and at dusk.  They mostly feed on the feeder by the winterberry bushes.  She goes to any feeder , wherever there is a space.
The girls had a successful shopping trip for wreath rings and wire.  A new place, very nice people and much cheaper.  In the afternoon they made places to hang finished wreaths.  They make very full ones.  Last year they found out that even if their stacks didn't have very many wreaths the bottom ones flattened some.
May your day be blessed, Sally
