Jay and Darel spent the day working on the greenhouse foundation. Even though they had done lots of leveling, more had to be done. The side towards the direction the worst winds come from needs extra bracing. Bekh watered the shrubs and perennials and filled the garden pond. The hoses were disconnected and put away. Supplies that shouldn't freeze were bought in the house. The vegetable stand was cleaned out, getting it ready for Christmas.
I put vegetable coolers away along with the milk jugs we'd been collecting for ice. We try to have new milk jugs each season because they wear out and leak. Baking soda goes in the clean coolers along with the jugs to make sure they are in good shape for next year's vegetables.
Jobs were crossed off the list, but more were added. They will continue to work on the new greenhouse foundation today. May God bless and care for you today, Sally.
