10/9/24  Today is a good day to have a good day.

 Cloudy, calm, 39 degrees.   Rain early then cloudy the rest of the day.  A light north breeze with a high of 58.  Overcast tonight with a low of 42.  Cloudy tomorrow with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 55, a low of 43.  Partly cloudy Friday with a WNW wind, a high of 57, a low of 47.  Sunshine Saturday with a WNW wind, a high of 57, a low of 39.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 55, a low of 43.   Showers Monday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 54, a low of 38.  Partly cloudy Tuesday and next Wednesday with a WNW breeze, a high of 52, a low of 34.  Sunshine next Thursday with a WNW breeze, a high of 56, a low of 35.  Partly cloudy Friday the 18th with a WNW breeze, a high of 59, a low of 39.  Perhaps a shower the morning of the 19th with a WNW breeze, a high of 59, a low of 41.  Partly cloudy the week of the 20th with highs in the upper fifties, lows of 40..

   The new greenhouse is here.  Three trucks pulling trailers piled high pulled in about three yesterday afternoon.  The floor was wool felt.  Doug loaded his big tractor on a trailer, went to the site, and used the tractor to lift the felt onto the trailer.  Now it is here also.  All that is left is the six by sixes the greenhouse was on. They want to go get them today.  Our fall supply order is coming today. So it may be tomorrow.  A steep increase in soil price is forecast so we are getting all of our spring order now.  Eight pallets, 30 bales to a pallet.  Usually we get half now, half the first week in April.

   Busy as yesterday was, it was Alexander's ninth birthday so everyone stopped and had cake and ice cream to celebrate.

   Villages in WNC and Tennessee that were in the hurricane's path still haven't been reached.Many people are still missing.

People, including some of our family, still don't have power.  Now Florida is getting hit.  We need to walk in prayer.
