10/2/24  We don't need constant upgrades.  We need to love and care for the home we.ve been blessed with.

Clouds, calm, 48 degrees.  Overcast today, a SE breeze, a high of 63.  Overcast tonight with a low of 47.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun tomorrow, a south breeze, a high of 70, a low of 53.  Rain Saturday with a NNE breeze, a high of 64, a low of 46.    Showers Monday with a SSE breeze, a high 61, a low of 46.  Morning showers Tuesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high 58, a low of 40.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with brisk NW breezes, highs of 56, lows of 39.   Sunshine the weekend of the 12th and 13th with NW breezes, highs about 58, lows about 38.  Cloudy Monday the 14th with a WNW breeze, a high of 56, a low of 40

   The truck they are planning to use to move the greenhouse didn't get fixed.  Hopefully this morning.The starter was only part of the problem.  There is plenty to do here but the greenhouse is top of the list.They are getting the gardens ready to plant the rye cover crop before Saturday's rain.

    The hibiscus are still blooming.  Every morning I look out the kitchen window at more deep pink blossoms.  The delphiniums have gone by but the fence is attractive behind the pink blooms.  The hanging petunias on the barn are beautiful too.

   Outfitters that take people on mule trips are being bought into the small towns in Tennessee.  They are sending mule trains of supplies into  mountain areas that can't be reached any other way.  Tractor Supply has been very generous.  Not only supplying feed for the mules  but donating supplies to pack in.
