6/16/24 When life gives you more than you can stand, Kneel

The weather was lovely yesterday and so was Sally Jo and Kaden's wedding.       A short forecast today because we  were all tired last night and slept in.  My church has an early service so I'm always hurrying Sunday morning.  Today's high will be 75 with sunshine.  A low of 50 tonight.  Clouds tomorrow so a high of 72.  A low of 62 tomorrow night as warm air moves in giving us highs in the nineties the rest of the week.  The heat wave breaks on the weekend with some showers.  Next week will start with scattered thunderstorms Monday followed by warm weather with highs around 80.

The wedding was beautiful, as was the bride. It was an afternoon that made memories we will all cherish.  The weather cooperated with sunshine and a breeze to keep away any bugs that might dare infringe on the day.  Margin sent Doug a video of the cows laying in the tall grass enjoying the sun and breeze.  Even the rumbumptious calves were napping!
Late afternoon a dark cloud blew in.  Cindy 's son in law hadn't been well, she had debated coming to the wedding.  He was in the hospital but was doing better and insisted she come to the wedding.  Late afternoon her daughter called, and Bob had just passed away.  Cindy headed straight home, getting home safely.  We prayed for her to drive home to be uneventful and continue to pray for Cindy, her daughter and family.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
