6/14/24  A society grows great when people plant trees whose shade they will never sit in.

High clouds give us weak sun, gentle breezes, 61degrees.  A high of 78 today, showers this morning, thunderstorms this afternoon.  Partly cloudy tonight with a light NW breeze, a low of 59.  Dry tomorrow for Sally Jo's wedding, morning clouds/afternoon sun.  A stiff north breeze with a high of 72, a low of 47.  Sunshine Sunday with a WNW breeze, a high of 76, a low of 53.  Morning clouds/afternoon Monday with  a Brisk SSW breeze. a high of 76, a low of 58. Partly cloudy Tuesday with a SSW breeze, a high of 90, a low of 66.  Partly cloudy Wednesday and Thursday with a west breeze, highs of 96, lows about 70. Scattered thunderstorms Friday with a NNW breeze, a high of 86, a low of 61.  Showers next Saturday with a NNW breeze, a high of 80, a low of 59.  Cloudy next Sunday with a NE breeze, a high of 81, a low of 59.Partly cloudy Monday the 24th and Tuesday the 25th with SW breezes highs of 84 and 80, lows of 61.  Showers the next few days with SE breezes, highs of 81, lows of 60.

     A dry day yesterday brought out customers.  So many customers that Bekah is going to make another nursery order.  They had been on the fence about ordering this late in the season but now she'll be ordering Monday.  I'll post here when the order comes so you can visit and see what comes.  perennials, roses and shrubs.  We still have some of most everything but not many of each.  And there have been requests for some plants we don't usually carry.  There are still annuals and vegetable seedlings on the benches.

     Yesterday Bekah went to town and got supplies for the wedding.  Last night she and Nicole started setting up. They;ll set up more late today after the thunderstorms roll out.  There will be some things that have to wait until early tomorrow.  The greenhouse/nursery will be closed tomorrow afternoon so everyone can go to the wedding.
