Hay wagons will roll next week, probably even on the Fourth.  At the nursery Jay will be watering. Cucumber salad and new potatoes every meal.  Lots of yellow and zucchini squash. Maybe I'll even get the flower beds around the house looking like they are loved!  The nursery will be closed on the Fourth even if hay wagons are rolling.  It will be good to start filling the haymows.
Meanwhile Jay dug new potatoes in the rain yesterday because so many were sold.  Doug and Bekah were wrapping large round bales when it started raining..  I got two flower beds done before the rain.moved in  I was tired but happy to be making some progress.  I'm happy that next week I'll be able to walk out to the garden pond to water the flowers and make sure the water level is up.  Maybe one of those hot days the great grand kids will help me clean the maple syrup pan in the kitchen garden.  The hummingbirds would like me to put in the fountain so they could fly through the water to cool off.
Church this morning.  Will I get more flowers planted before the thunderstorms move in?  May God bless you on this day, Sally
