Safari and my computer are having problems this morning.
New potatoes are on the stand.  Cucumbers are selling faster than they are getting large enough. Jay picked twice yesterday and there were only ten left last night.  The vines are loaded with smaller ones but he only picked ninety yesterday.  Yellow squash are just  producing enough to keep up with sales.   Plenty of beet greens.  Even though there is plenty of moisture, people aren't buying many plants.  Digging holes when the temperature is in the nineties isn't their choice.  When I got back from PT I weeded along the red shed so we could set the boxes of morning glories.  I usually don't mind the heat but I took a couple of breaks.  I separated the weeds, the tender ones went for the chickens, the burdock and other tough ones went to the compost pile.
Why the computer was thinking about what it was going to do I looked out the kitchen window.  Very few birds.  It is reassuring that there is finally natural food but I miss all the activity.  There is so much water everywhere my pond isn't the attraction it usually is.  At least we don't have as much water as this storm dropped west of us.  We're having trouble making hay but their hay fields are under feet of water.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
