5/10/23  Today take time to see and appreciate the beautiful gift of earth, sea, and sky that God has given us.  Pastor Bruce Young

Clear. a west breeze, 42 degrees.  Sunshine today with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 71.  Partly cloudy tonight with a west breeze, a low of 48.  Sunny tomorrow with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 77, a low of 47.  Partly cloudy Friday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 76, a low of 53.  Sunny Saturday with a brisk NW breze, a high of 71, a low of 42.  Partly cloudy Mother's Day, with a NW wind, a high of 64, a low of 44.   Partly cloudy Monday with a kight west wind, a high of 73, a low of 49.  Partly cloudy Tuesday and next Wednesday with strong NW breezes, highs about 65, lows about 43. partly cloudy Thursday the 18th and Friday the 19th with a strong WNW breeze Thursday, a strong SW breeze Friday.  Highs of 68, lows of 49. Brisk south breezes Saturday the 20th with some clouds, a high of 67, a low of 48. Possible showers Sunday the 21st with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 68, a low of 50.  Partly cloudy the week of the 22ed with westerly breezes, some showers, highs in the low seventies, lows in the low fifties.

Another sunny day.  We do appreciate the sun after such a long spell of rain.  The constant breeze is drying out exposed soil.  And sunny days mean even more watering in the greenhouse.  Bekah added some hydrangeas requested by customers to Friday's order.  Their request came just in time, no more deliverie after Friday.  We are getting more Coast of Maine today.  Jay planted peas.
Some flowers go out on the display benches today.  There are too many for us to harden off by moving them out for a few hours every day until they are used to the strong breezes.  So they will be wrapped in remay for a few days. How many days depends on how breezey it is.  The remay will protect the flowers enough to harden them off.
I will start planting my flowers.  They will also be covered with remay.  As soon as there is room in my little greenhouse I will move my geraniums and the church's geraniums into it.  When I open it up it is pretty breezy inside.  Plus the sun is stronger in the greenhouse than under lights.
Hummingbirds are out at the greenhouse.  They aren't at my feeders yet.  all the flowers must be attracting them to the greenhouse.  The blossoms on the horse chestnut are still tightly closed.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
