Such a nice, needed rain. It will make things easier in the gardens and nursery. A fog has rolled in this morning. Besides helping in the nursery Cindy has two of my flower beds ready to plant. With the forecast of hard rain we decided it would be best to not plant them. This afternoon I can plant them. And pull weeds and grass out of other beds, the wet ground will make pulling much easier. Cindy is going to church with me this morning and then headed home with a car full of plants and soil. It is good that most of the plants are in containers. As hard as she has worked why she was here she needs a rest!
I planted some of my boxes, they are in the garage. They will stay there a few days to harden off. I open the doors during the day and the breeze blows through. Jay has the boxes that go in front of the barn filled and ready to plant. The barn protects them so I will put them in place and plant them. Two of my places for hanging plants are also protected. I'll put them out and bring the third plant to the garage to harden off. Then Bekah won't have to keep watch of them so they don't get sold!
May God bless you on this day, Sally
