A pleasant day yesterday.  I found several pansy seedlings in one of my flower beds.  Since the nursery is out of pansies I'm going to transplant them into trays for sale. The bed has recycled soil in it, the seeds must have been in that soil.  It is a bed that is too hot and sunny for pansies to do well this summer.  The boxes in front of the barn are done.  It will take awhile for them to fill in.  Many of Bekah's first round of flowers have sold so I'm planting smaller ones  or ones I started.  My hanging plants are third round!
UPS delivered our mum plugs last night.  With it are a few flower plugs.  Including some New Guinea Impatiens for me.  People were asking for the ones Bekah had set aside for me, so I told her to sell them.  I plant New Guineas in the boxes along the garage.  This spring's hard rains damaged the boxes when there was such heavy rain it overran the gutter.  I'm just now getting them refilled with soil.  The plugs that came yesterday will grow .  Some lavender plugs came in that order.  The nursery has large lovely lavender plants but some people want smaller less expensive plants so they can plant several.  When Bekah saw Phenomenal lavender plugs available she added them to the order.
Annabelle's school concert was last night.  We had thought it was Wednesday.  She was sad to miss her first ball game but the teachers and students had been working on the concert for several months.  Annabeele had a special part.  The school and students do an awesome job.  Parents have to get there early to get parking and seats. I went with Andrew and Gayle.  Today I have a doctor's appointment in Millinocket.  Tomorrow I'll put a warm jacket on and plant flowers, covering them with remay for protection from the cold wind.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
