The hose thawed with only one connection popped apart. Mike was strong enough to put it back together for me so I didn't have to take it apart and redo it. Then he took the bird's windbreak trees and decoration boughs to a brush pile he had so i didn't have to go to Corinth dump. I was very glad not to have to pull them off and carry them to the burn pile. I still had to go to Corinth to go to the bank and get paint and groceries. I got the boughs from the church box, i'll put them on Mike's pile.
With no boughs shielding it from the sun the ground can warm up for flowers.
Maegin finished setting up the seeds for sale and planted peppers and impatiens. The last shipment of plugs and cuttings came last night. came last night. They have more impatiens in them for hanging baskets.
We weren't able to source trellises for our Country Charm containers. That turned out to be a good thing. Bekah made lovely ones out of grape vines, and the price was right! The Country Charm flowers were in the boxes too.
Besides getting the area where the Coast of Maine shipment goes Jay has been renovating the hoop house. it was kind of on its last legs. Now we'll get more years out of it and it will stay warmer. Right on schedule, warmup is forecast to start on the 30th. We'll be ready!
May God be with you on this day, Sally
