3/9/19
Life may not be the party we'd hoped for but why we are here we can dance.

Clear, NW breeze, 19 degrees on top of the house, 14 by the bird feeders.  Sunny today with a stiff NNW breeze.  Dropping to four tonight, our last single number for this winter.  We'll wake up to clouds tomorrow, losing an hour of sleep due to the time change.  An ESE breeze with 1-3 inches of snow in the afternoon with a high of 33.  1-3 inches of snow tomorrow night changing to light rain with a low of 31 and a SW breeze.  Mostly cloudy Monday with a stiff WSW breeze, a high of 42 and a low of 24.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with strong NW breezes, a high of 34 and a low of 16.  Sunny Wednesday with a NW breeze, a high of 39 and a low of 23.  Cloudy Thursday with a SSW breeze, a high of 46 and a low of 35.  Showers Friday with a SSW breeze, a high of 53 and a low of 33.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 45 and a low of 23.  Snow showers next Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.  Not much accumulation expected.  A high of 36 Sunday with a NW breeze, and a low of 20.  A high of 41 Monday, the 18th, with a WNW breeze and a low of 20.  Snow to rain Tuesday, the 19th, with a WNW breeze, a high of 42 and a low of 23.  Partly cloudy the rest of the week with brisk NW breezes, highs about 40 and lows in the low twenties..
Yesterday afternoon the pastor came by for to visit and bring ashes since we had missed the Wednesday night service.    When he left we went to Corinth to take over my Sunday School lesson, return bottles and pick up a prescription.  The plan was to stop at the town hall and vote on the way home.  Darel decided he wasn't up to getting out of the truck, going in to vote and getting back in the truck.  So we came straight home.  I fixed the fires, we had supper and then I went over and voted why he napped.
Not a lot got done in the greenhouse yesterday.  Some watering, clean up and rearranging to make room.  Some clean up in the house, some watering and some plant rearranging in here too.  Some seedlings in here need potted and they will have to stay in here, soon the greenhouse will be full.
Town meting this morning but I'm hoping lots  of planting gets done in the greenhouse too.  Even though the weather is warming up I'm burning lots of wood.  The back room will be empty by April 1st so we can move plants  in to it.  I'm hoping the snow is gone so the Andrews can recover the hoop house by then so the petunias can go out there.
Today looks like a beautiful day here, hope yours is too.  Sally
